The Holy Spirit's given praise, deep listening, understanding & an ability to quickly forgive. A confessor's absolution prayer followed by generous Holy Spirit prayer over me is the ultimate gift. H.S. unique words of eternal loving truth in compassion & courage flow lately. Teresa O attended Jesus Fest where group prayer was offered for physical healing.
"I had an injury to my right shoulder and a doctor told me to get the right shoulder replaced. I chose not to do that until other interventions were tried. Now, my shoulders are pain free. I have a deep faith that God can do anything, that nothing is impossible for God.”

Although I’ve heard these words all of my Catholic life, they never really hit home until I attended a Charismatic Conference held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Barron, Wi. Deacon Michael Cullen allowed us to place our hands atop the water of the baptismal font for a few minutes. Those moments began a process in my heart in which I realized the constancy of God and the passing nature of everything on earth. Not only did that conference open up my limited faith (at that time,) but enabled that world to expand by listening to the stories of others whose lives were touched by the Holy Spirit through healing, words of knowledge, etc.
I consider that event to be the cornerstone of an appreciation of God as a source of love and stability in thewhirlwind of everyday life and confusion. Although I have hobbies and interests, I maintain God as the most interesting of all. June Wittbrot
