To help people deepen a personal relationship with God through the Grace and Gifts of the Holy Spirit: to spread the gospel by service to others.

Vision Statement

With guidance of the Holy Spirit we will encourage spiritual growth in individuals, parishes and communities in the Diocese of Superior.

As a Service Team we feel we are called to the following Activities to foster spiritual growth:

Provide Communication to other Charismatics and parishes

Support Parish Prayer Groups

Support Parish Life in the Spirit Seminars with Praise and Worship

Workshops with Adult and Young Adult Faith Formation

Celebrate with the Pentecost Mass

Pastor / Liaison

Fr. Gerald Harris

I was ordained for the diocese in 1979 and while in seminary attended a Life in the Spirit retreat. It changed my life as I realized the power of the Holy Spirit. I’d love others to experience the same. I am currently pastor of St. Joseph’s in Amery and Our Lady of the Lakes in Balsam Lake, and was appointed Charismatic Liaison for the Diocese of Superior in 2022.

Mary Hebda

I am the 3rd daughter of 6 siblings, 49 years married to Richard Bernard Hebda & blessed, through NFP practices with 2 daughters, Jen (Garret) Belisle M.D., Mrs. Angela Fiscus and son, Joel (Kim Spurgeon). There are 4 grandchildren & more we pray for daily. Good Shepherd of Rib Lake, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cluster, Medford is the church we attend. First experiencing charismatic prayer at Alverno University in 1973, reborn in the Holy Spirit on 3/25/84. The Diocese of Superior Ministry of the Holy Spirit committee has been my passion since 2016.

I’ve been a member of St. Boniface Parish in Chetek for 26 years. I’ve been involved in the Ministry of the Holy Spirit for over 17 years. I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 2000. My life forever changed that day. Out of love and gratitude, I hope to help others encounter the life changing power of the Holy Spirit! Come Holy Spirit Come!

June Wittbrot

I grew up as a “cradle Catholic” in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My husband and I moved to Chetek, Wi. In 1994 and have attended St. Boniface Catholic Church in Chetek. I became involved in the Ministry of the Holy Spirit after attending a Holy Spirit conference held in Barron, Wi which led me to dive deeper into my faith and restored my hope for the church.

Chris Corson

I was recruited by Father Dean Buttrick to join the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. I was Baptized Catholic in the 1950’s at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Freeport, IL. My home Church is St. Mary’s of Tomahawk, Wi. I am a Liturgical Scripture Reader, and assist with Communion.

Laura Fenzl

I'm a parishioner at Nativity of Our Lord in Rhinelander where I was the Youth and Young Adult Coordinator from 2012-2021. I was raised in Park Falls, single, daughter of Lawrence and Kathryn Fenzl. I spent 28 years in ministry in the Archdiocese of St Paul/ Minneapolis and I hold a Master's in Theological Study from Ave Maria University.

Anna Marie Olsen

I am a member of the Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior. When I was living in the Los Angeles/ Long Beach area of California, I became active in prayer groups in the 1990's. I have been involved in the Holy Spirit Renewal for about 30 years, first in California and now in the Diocese of Superior. I have served as treasurer of the group since 2018.

Nancy Stellrecht

I live in rural Shell Lake and attend St. Catherine of Alexandria parish in Sarona. My husband Jeff and I have 4 adult daughters and three beautiful grandchildren. I was baptized in the Holy Spirit in February of 1993 and my life was changed forever! I have been serving on this committee since 2019.
